The 2031 SAVE CAMPAIGN

The Faith Sector 2031 Campaign to SAVE Eastern, Central, and Southern African (ECSA) Families Communities and Nations from HIV&AIDS is a faith and hope-inspired action, advocacy and prayer initiative coordinated by the Global Working Group on Faith, SSDDIM & HIV.

The Campaign adopts a spirituality of resistance and a theology of redemption to reduce SSDDIM, multiply SAVE and defeat HIV.

The Campaign aims to impactfully contribute to halting, reversing, and significantly overcoming new HIV/AIDS related infections, illnesses, and deaths in Eastern, Central and Southern African states and communities before the epidemic triumphantly and devastatingly celebrates its 50th anniversary in 2031.

The primary purpose of the faith Sector 2031 Campaign is to enhance the engagement and mobilization of people, communities, and leaders of faith in mainstreaming HIV/ AIDS in their mission, ministry, prayer, training and advocacy activities. The aim is to improve ECSA communities’ and  governments’  leadership in and ownership of SSDDIM reduction and SAVE multiplication initiatives.

As such, the objectives of our 2031 campaign parallel the admirable  vision of a world with ZERO new infections, ZERO discrimination, and ZERO new AIDS related deaths, as promoted by UNAIDS.
